Delete your BetterMe account
You can permanently delete your account and associated BetterMe data either inside the app or by sending a verified web request.
Delete in the app
- Open BetterMe and sign in.
- Open Settings.
- Under Privacy & data, choose Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm Delete permanently.
This authenticated path is the fastest option.
Request deletion on the web
Email us from the address used for your BetterMe account. Use the subject “Delete my BetterMe account.” We will verify account ownership before processing the request.

- Your BetterMe authentication account and profile
- Challenge, schedule, workout, review, and progress records
- Private progress photos and generated exercise guides
- Connected calendar credentials and cached external events
- Cloud health aggregates, workout summaries, and recovery snapshots
- AI outputs, usage records, notifications, and device registrations associated with your account
What it does not remove
Deletion does not modify source events in your Google calendars or records stored in Apple Health or Android Health Connect. BetterMe attempts to revoke connected Google grants and removes its dedicated Google calendar when possible. Limited information may be retained only when required by law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
